Snow Day! Snow Day! I don’t know who is more excited, your child or his/her teacher! I love a Snow Day! I’m just hoping for some actual pretty snow and that if so, I get to keep my power! Snow Day with no electricity might not be so fun! Hopefully, the kids will get to enjoy some pretty snow!
We will continue to plan for Mad Minute Math on Thursday and Spelling Test on Friday. We will also have a Continents and Oceans Test on Friday. They will be required to label the continents and oceans on a map. They will not be responsible for spelling them, but they will need to recognize the words when they see them. A study guide went home today as well as a sheet that we worked on in class.
I am including some fun links to check out to help learn these as well! The songs are great and make the learning fun. I also taught the kids some motions to “We’ve Got the Whole Globe/World in Our Hands”.
Have a great week!
