It’s so hard to believe that last Thursday was the 100th Day of school! We had a blast with our 100th Day Centers. I took pictures of the kids using an age-progression app and we did a writing about how different life will be when they are 100. Really cute stuff from this cute bunch!
Due to the short week, we will not have a written homework pack or a spelling test. This will allow for your child to get some extra reading practice in, extra Mad Minute Math practice, and maybe even an extension homework activity!

2. *Get Bragging Behavior Sheet signed daily.
3. Study for Mad Minute Math Quiz on Thursday. (Do not return practice sheet, it is just for your practice at home.)

Math: Subtracting 2-digit numbers by tens using model drawing and using a number line and recognizing how addition and subtraction of tens are related
Phonics: suffixes and prefixes, review of /ow/ spelled ou and ow, review of long vowels, and oo review
Writing: Opinion Writing using the story “Hey Little Ant” and journal
Language Arts: capitalization, punctuation
Social Studies: Landforms (What are mountains, plains, plateaus, deserts, valleys, and coasts)
Daily 5: Read to Self, Read to Someone, Word Work, Work on Writing, and Listen to Reading
Science: Animal Journal
